Custom Tender In the mid ‘90s, north shore boats was steered in a new direction by a talented commercial boat builder and he used north shores good reputation, plus extensive market research to focus on what todays boat owners want tomorrow. The first new generation of eye catching models sets a new benchmark for quality and innovation in boat manufacturing. So we would like to introduce our new CT6000 custom tender, this is not just a normal centre consol it has a totally uneak hull design which makes it very economical to run with small horsepower and apart from this, when the drawings were done we also had it set up for survey so it can be put into charter. You wont believe the ride on this one. Each CT6000 hull starts with a lay up of tri-axial and double-bias fibre glass matting. The gelcoat is of the highest quality and is Australian made the same as all our resins. The structure is nothing less than strong throughout using similar building to commercial survey methods, giving a solid hull structure of 16mm thick in the keel, 12mm thick on the chines,8mm thick hull bottom, and 6mm on the hull topsides. Many boats in any type of sea conditions tend to vibrate severely, which is generally caused by a thinner hull construction. The CT6000 performs with minimum flex and vibration in any sea conditions, due to applying a commercial standard layup. Plywood is also used in many boats to form the cockpit floor and add strength. Over time wood rot becomes a problem. To avoid this north shore applies a 20mm high density foam moulded to the floor to keep the weight down but maintain the hulls structural integrity throughout. |
